Color Day of the week is yellow.

Math: Counting orally to 30 and writing numbers to 10, Identifying shapes, Identifying colors, and sorting items.

Science: 5 senses (seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling)

October 2-6

Language and Reading: Orally Spelling name Months of the year and days of the week. Recognizes letters Aa-ZZ. How many words are in a sentence. Rhyming word How many syllables are in a word.

Sight Words: a, the, I, see, go, to, at, am, my, by, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, red, blue, orange, green, yellow, purple, brown.

Math:

Counting 1-100,recognizes number 1-20, recognizes shapes, recognizes colors.

Social Studies/Science: Betsy Ross, George Washington 5 senses We will continue PALS testing this week.

October 7-18

Field Trip Permission Slips and Money Due by Oct. 11, 2019 to Crab Orchard History Museum and the Pumpkin Patch to attend the trip on Oct. 17, 2019.

We will begin Reading PALS testing this week and start Report Card Testing.

Feb. 10-14

Writing Alphabet Aa-Zz on wide rule paper. Orally spelling first and last name. Months of the year and days of the week.

Reading:

Recognizes letters Aa-Zz. Students needs to know all sounds and study sight words nightly.

Math:

We are continuing our study on fractions and measurement and introducing addition.

March 16

Take Home Packet Day 1 Includes the following:

Sight words practice(Students should be able to read by sight.), Reading Comprehension (Students should practice blending, sounding, out words on their own) , Color Words, Handwriting Practice, Review or Ordinal Numbers, Counting and Graphing Writing Numbers, by 5's, 10's, and 2's.

Read with your child 20 minutes daily with a book of your choice.
